Bike Share

Sekura-Byk Ltd offers a bike share scheme, the scheme itself is to enable a pool of users that work as part of a collective to purchase their own bikes that will sit within our secure bike locking systems.

Bike share can be purchased to use on existing locks or new sites / locks.

Existing Sekura-Byk locks

Sekura-Byk Ltd have multiple sites with available locks to purchase through Bike Share. If Bike Share was purchased, we’d allocate the number of locks for Bike Share to block use of these locks by the public or existing Contracts.

For example – Russell Square Cycle Park, London. Red section (15 locks) blocked for public use. Programmed for Bike Share use to Company with two locations close by. They then purchase another 15 locks at the other location

New Sites / Locks

If a customer requests to purchase their own locks at multiple locations within 3 to 5 miles of each other. There are 10 locks at each location. All locks are programmed to Bike Share. Customer purchases their own bicycles to place in 5 locks at each location. The staff at the Company use these bicycles to travel between the sites. Bicycle is unlocked from the 1st location and locked in the 2nd location.

Existing Company Access

It may be possible for Sekura-Byk Ltd’s equipment to be used with existing Access Control. If this is not possible, Access FOB’s can be purchased to use with Bike Share.

If the Company decides that the members of staff are cycling into work, the system can change a number of locks back to public use to either use PAYG, Pre-Booking or Long-Term Parking.

General Procedure for Bike Share
